Real Estate on NH8 What are the prospects of property on NH8? Especially going towards Jaipur from Gurgaon. Manesar seems to be catching up very fast. IT companies moving to Manesar. Also, there are lots of manufacturing plants starting for Manesar and goes to Neemrana right all the way along NH8. From the knowledge I have gathered from people, any property on NH8 especially land is very profitable. Since, not only it is a prime location but also provides excellent connectivity to major cities, also Industrial development is going good. Right after crossing second toll on NH8 going from gurgaon towards manesar, there are a number of housing projects going on, and there prices seems to be rising at a very rapid pace. MNP will usher a new era of freedom for mobile subscribers in the country. The technology will allow subscribers to change their mobile service provider without the fear of losing their old mobile number. http://www.nkjlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/mnp2.jpg This means users will be able to retain their old mobile number even after they decide to change their service provider. And yes, the service is available for both postpaid and prepaid customers and also on both GSM and CDMA platforms. Following are six simple steps using which you can port you numbers: Send an SMS to 1900 in following format: PORT – eg. PORT 9999123456. You will get an SMS reply that contains a unique porting code. SMS to the preferred operator quoting the unique code. This code is valid only for a few days, and one must apply again if it expires. Your existing operator will check with new operator & if there are no dues then approval will be given for porting. You will get an SMS on the time and date when porting will take place. Rules mandate that process be completed within 7 days of applying with an exception of 15 days in Jammu & Kashmir and North East. After porting is complete, wait for an SMS from your new operator confirming the switch. Your phone may be dead for about 2 hours when the porting takes place. Important points to remember: The cost of porting a number to a new operator is Rs 19. You can change your operator without changing your number only within your current service area i.e. subscribers cannot take their Delhi number to an operator in Mumbai. They can only change their operator within Delhi. Once the changing of carrier starts, phone number is expected to be deactivated for about 2 hours (from 10 PM to 5AM) Once you change your provider, you can only change it again after 90 days. You can also shift from your post-paid number to pre-paid. Political Reservation for Women in India Why do women need reservation in political arena in India? India has always been a country where men have dominated the lifestyle, decision and aspirations of women. For a thousand years old civilization women are still not independent. Though many have managed to cross this barrier but I am talking about 95% women in this country who are still dependent upon male family member; be it the father, brother, husband or son. http://www.nkjlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/women-politics-230x300.jpg Even after 63 years of independence we still do not have even 10% women representation in our politics. But do we need to promote them with the help of quotas. In this case, YES. No political party is keen to give tickets to any women, not because she is a female but because the candidate opposite to her would be a male who has an upper hand in the society and that would not be a fair play. But if a particular seat is made a women seat then all candidates would be females and would be an even game. For me, if a reservation is given to a particular segment of our society to uplift their status then the reservation should definitely be made but only temporarily; something like make the reservation law for 10 or 20 years to help them uplift themselves and should be abandoned after that.
